How it gets funded
The Growth and Skills Levy is a compulsory payroll tax for employers with an annual salary bill of £3 million or more. It can fund AI, tech and digital training for your teams.
Payroll over £3m
Funds now expire 12 months from August, down from 24.
Levy can be spent on short Apprenticeship Units of 30 to 140 hours as well as full programmes.

Payroll under £3m
100% government funding for apprentices under 25, with no co-investment required.
5% co-investment applies for new starters aged 25 and over.
National Insurance savings on all apprentices under 25.
