About us

At Calibr we believe that people capabilities are the biggest differentiator right now.

At Calibr we believe that people capabilities are the biggest differentiator right now.

Our mission is to help companies build in house AI capability by setting up focused AI sprints and embedding tech talent. Our approach is simple: find where AI can help. Prove it in practice. Then build the team that creates AI applications and new ways of working to support the growth of your business.

01

Where we started

Our founders spent years interviewing executives, and building The Graduate Guide, a community of early-career talent and placing them into fast growth companies.

02

The Graduate Guide was acquired by the Apprentify Group, bringing our talent expertise together with deep capability in AI, data and tech training.

03

We began by running in-person assessments to spot potential beyond the CV. But as AI reshaped work, we saw that hiring alone was not enough.

04

Calibr helps companies build the people, skills and systems needed to make AI adoption work.

Calibr AI Ethics & Safety Framework

AI is only worth adopting if leaders and users understand and trust the technology. We believe the best way to build this trust is to ensure that AI augments human judgement, not replaces or manipulates it, and that its benefits and costs fall fairly on the people it touches.

Calibr’s ethics and safety commitments, anchored in Deloitte's Trustworthy AI framework, shape every recommendation we put forward.

AI is only worth adopting if it earns trust - from the people it affects, and from the leaders accountable for it.

Every recommendation we make is built around seven commitments, anchored in Deloitte's Trustworthy AI framework.

These commitments rest on one belief: AI should augment human judgement, not replace or manipulate it, and its benefits and costs should fall fairly on the people it touches.

Privacy

Data is handled with explicit consent and only for the purpose it was collected for.

Transparency

If an AI system makes a decision, there's a clear explanation for why and one we can stand behind to the people affected by it.

Fairness

We check for biases before we recommend a system or policy.

Responsibility

Every AI system we help put in place has a named, accountable owner.

Accountability

Our recommendations are documented and stand up to scrutiny. If something goes wrong or malfunctions, we trace it back and investigate.

Reliability

The systems we implement need to perform consistently for everyone who uses or is affected by them.

Safety

Human oversight stays in the loop wherever a decision materially affects someone's job, finances, or wellbeing.

Impartiality

Because regulation lags the technologies we built, some use cases may be legal but ethically dubious. To decide whether we proceed, we ask these three questions before moving forward:

  1. Would this still feel fair to the person on the receiving end?

  2. Can the outcome be clearly explained to those affected?

  3. How would we feel if this decision featured in the media tomorrow?
